LAMAR ODOM SPEAKS OUT ABOUT TRAGIC ACCIDENT "DEATH ALWAYS SEEM TO BE AROUND ME"

LAMAR AND WIFE KHLOE KARDASHIAN

For those who do not know, Lamar Odom(husband of Khloe Kardashsian and right guard for LA LAKERS) was involved in an accident which ended up killing 15-year old Awsaf Islam. Lamar was on his way to Queens NY where he grew up in a chauffer-driven car just A DAY after attending and burying his murdered 24 yeard-old-cousin. That was when the car he was in hit a motorcycle, which then hit and tragically killed Awsaf Islam, who was at the time on his bike. Speaking to the LA TIMES about the event, Lamar admitted that he WAS 'breaking down mentally' and has admitted himself to see a psychologist to help him deal with what has happened. LAMAR'S VIEW ON TRAGIC ACCIDENT:

"DEATH ALWAYS SEEM TO BE AROUND ME", Lamar exclaimed. Lamar says that the vehicle that he was in was making lef t turn when: " 'I hear a "ka-boom", A man doing the wheelies (the motorcyclist) had jumped in front of us. When he(the motorcylist) slid, I though it was two people on the bike. But what actually happened is that the guy that hit us as the motorcycle was sliding, he ran into someone else. And when I saw him run into someone else, I heard another 'ka-boom'.


Lamar goes on to explain further, 'I looked at the person that was hit by the motorcycle and I kind of knew that this kid received death'.

15-YEAR-OLD AWSAF ISLAM

'I'm sitting in the car looking him right in the face. I'm like: "I think he's gone".'

Lamar explains how his next move was to call his wife Khloe and tell her about the event that had taken place right infront of his eyes. Clearly visibly shaken, he told his wife 'I said: "This kid is dead".
'I think just because I had seen death with my cousin, I was like: "Oh, I can't believe I'm seeing this two days in a row".'


'I think the effects of seeing him (my cousin) die and then watching this kid die, it beat me down. I consider myself a little weak.
'I thought I was breaking down mentally. I'm doing a lot of reflecting.'
Lamar also revealed that he didn't eat for 'eight or nine days' after the tragedies. He also admits: 'I may need to see a psychologist.'

Unfortunately, Lamar is someone who is used to death around him. 

DEATH IN LAMAR ODOM'S LIFE:

1. His mother Cathy Mercer died of colon cancer when he was 12.
2. Seven years ago the grandmother who raised him, Mildred Mercer, died.
3. In 2006, his seven-month-old son Jayden from a previous relationship was sadly a victim of cot death. Lamar reveals 'When I had to bury my child, I probably didn't start grieving until a year and a half later.'
4. Murder of his 24-year-old cousin in 2011
5. Accident which unfortunately led to the death of Awsaf Islam
